Mrs. Anna M. Adams, a native and life long resident of this community, died at 6 o’clock Friday morning after a long illness at the age of 62 years and 22 days. The funeral was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edith Dulle, on West Broadway at 2:30 p. m., Sunday. The service was conducted by Rev. J. W. Webster, assisted by Rev. Martin. The internment was at Caledonia cemetery.

Deceased was the widow of the late C. W. Adams, and six children survive, Mrs. Dulle, and Ernest Adams, of Sparta; Mrs. Maude Perdue, of Marissa; James and Alfonso Adams of Chaffee, Missouri; and Jerome present residence unknown. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Baird, and was born on the farm, south of Sparta, and was one of the native young lady members of the Union church at the time of her marriage. Ill health confined her to her home many years past.
