Mrs. McKee Dead

Mrs. Mary A. McKee1 widow of the late Judge Samuel C. McKee, for many years a prominent farmer near Blair, died at the home of her son, Edward McKee, in this city at 8:40 p. m. on Monday, December 29, 1902, aged 76 years, 10 months and 13 days. The funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. W. Parsons, and the interment was at Union cemetery. Deceased was all her long life a good citizen, a consistent Christian, beloved by a wide circle of neighbors and friends, and the bereaved children have the sympathy of the entire community. Mrs. McKee leaves surviving five sons, all grown to manhood and married, D. H. T., S. D., Charles, David and Edward. A life well spent gone to receive its reward.

Mr. J. P. M. Harris and daughter, Mrs. Don Palmer, of Ashley, were guests of Mrs. Ed. McKee, their daughter and sister a day or two this week. Come down to attend the funeral of Grandma McKee (Mary Ann Boyd McKee).
