The Grim Reaper Plucks A Flower

After being sick for over a month little Harvey Wisely Carlock, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Carlock passed away at the home of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Sturdivant, Friday March 5, 1920.  He was born near Pleasant Plains, Ill April 1, 1918. He was a little sunbeam and he was spared to be a joy to his home just one year, 11 months and 5 days before he went to meet his Savior.  He went with a smile on his face.  He leaves to mourn his death, his father, mother, one sister and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Sturdivant Sabbath afternoon at 2:30 o’clock March 7 in charge of Rev. Andrew S. Cresswell and interment was made in Coulterville Cemetery.
