Edna R. McKee, Collinsville
Edna R. McKee, 86, of Collinsville, Formerly of Sparta and Chester, died Tuesday, Feb 14, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born Dec 20, 1902 at Sparta, a daughter of the late Samuel Smiley and Minnie Atchinson Dickey. April 12, 1924 she was married to Myron T. McKee. He survives.
She is also survived by one son, Charles McKee of Port Isabel, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Lentz of Libertyville; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Dickey, and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Helen) Stahlman and Mrs. George (Mary) Ruester.
Mrs. McKee was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Collinsville.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville. Burial was at 11 a.m. Friday in Caledonia Cemetery at Sparta.
