Blair Boy Dies Here at Brother’s Room
Charles Cecil McKee was born August 22, 1897 and died January 26, at 1 a.m., at the age of 22 years, 5 months and 4 days.
He had been in Ohio and returned to Sparta Wednesday of last week. He was not well and went to the home of Mrs. Minnie Wallace, where his brother, Myron McKee, has a room and is attending the Sparta Township High School. The young man grew worse and worse, his illness developed into pneumonia, and he was unable to return to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David L. McKee, at Blair. His parents came here and cared for him, and he died Monday morning at 1 o’clock.
The body was taken to his home Monday afternoon and the funeral was held Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church. Interment was made at Union cemetery.
