In the matter of the estate of William McKee deceased, for Letters of Administration.

To the honorable Warren N. Wilson Judge of the County Court of Randolph County, in the State of Illinois The Petition of the undersigned respectfully represents, that William McKee late of the county of Randolph aforesaid, departed this life at his home in said County on or about the ___ day of June A. D. 1891 leaving no last will and testament so far as your petitioner know or believe And this petition further shows, that the said William McKee died seized and possessed of Real and Personal Estate consisting chiefly of 80 acres of land and personal property-horses cattle hogs farm implements all of said personal estate being estimated to be worth about Five Hundred and fifty Dollars. That said deceased left surviving him no children no widow as he had never been married but left his sisters Sarah McKinley and Susannah Steele and the children of Mrs Lemmon a deceased sister, and the children of Mrs Joseph Thompson a deceased sister as his heirs, that they request your petition to administer. That your petitioner (being a friend of said deceased,) and believing that the said estate should be immediately administered as well for the proper management of said Estate as for the prompt collection of the assets, by virtue of ___ right under the Statue, ___ therefore pray ___ that your Honor will grant letters of Administration to ___ in the premises, upon his taking the oath prescribed by the Statute and entering into Bond in such sum, and with securities, as my be approved by your Honor.

Petition of William F. Steele in the matter of the Estate of Susannah McKee Steele deceased, for letters of Conservatorship

To the Hon. Warren N. Wilson Judge of the County Court of Randolph County Court of Randolph County: The petition of the Undersigned ____ respectfully represents: that Susannah McKee Steele is about 39 years of age—that she was at the March Term of the County Court AD 1893 of said County of Randolph ajudged to be insane and is now insane and Confined by order of said Court in the Southern Insane Asylum at Anna in the State of Illinois that she is the wife of the petitioner to whom there is born to her and petitioner 4 children all under the age of 10 years now in Custody of the Petitioner that she the said Susannah McKee has personal Estate coming to her from the Estate of her deceased brother Wm McKee and other property of the total value of $400—and that your petitioner is her husband and desires to be appointed Conservator of her Estate
