Execution Bond Filed 11th Nov 1831 approved  James Thompson, Judge of Probate Recorded in pages 25 & 26

Know all men by these presents that we Archibald Thompson Senr, John Anderson Senr Samuel Douglass  & Samuel Hill of the county of Randolph and State of Illinois are held & firmly bound unto the people of the State of Illinois in the penal sum of five hundred dollars, current money of the United States, which payment will & truly to be made & performed, we, & each of us, bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, & administrators, jointly, severally, & firmly by these presents– Witness our hands & seals, this 14th day of Nov, 1831.

We condition of the above obligation is such, that if the above bound Archibald Thompson Senior & John Anderson Senr executors of the last will & testament of William McBride Senr, dec’d, do make or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all & singular the good & chattels, rights  & credits, lands, tenements & hereditaments & the rents & profits issuing out of the same, of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, prossession, or knowledge of the said Archibald Thompson Senr & John Anderson Senr, or into the possession of any other person for them & the same so made do exhibit in the court of probate for the said county of Randolph, as required by law; & also make, & render a just & fair account of their actings & doings as such executors to said court, when thereunto lawfully required, & to well & truly fulfil the duties enjoined on them in & by said will; & shall moreover pay, & deliver to the persons entitled thereto, all the legacies & bequeasts contained in said will so far as the estate of the said testator will thereunto extend according to the value thereof, & as the law shall charge them, & shall in general, do all other acts which may from time to time be required of them by law, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force & virtue.  (note all original signatures)
